“Lots of roundness, a floral and finely-oaked nose, flavoursome and ripe. Fleshy, rich and flavoursome.” L'Express

Vintages
Combining power and elegance, smoothness and tannins, Château Lascombes is a wine of great complexity. In its youth, its depth of colour never fails to impress. Finesse and softness on the palate are complemented by stylish, fine-grained tannins. Château Lascombes should be enjoyed as it ages over the years to enable full appreciation of its aromatic complexity and the development of its ever-more suave structure in bottle.
Nose

The nose is open and very expressive. On swirling, a rich wine is revealed with ripe, black fruits coming to the fore. The oaky notes are discreet and very elegant.

palate

The entry on the palate is smooth and velvety. An explosion of fruit flavours then invades the palate. The wine is concentrated, fleshy and opulent, while the tannins are fine and tight-knit. The new oak of the barrels is totally absorbed by such a structure. The palate develops with precision and elegance, and the finish is pleasant and lingering.
