The fine, complex nose, though still discreet, reveals very subtle notes of well-ripened black fruits mingling with various spices.
Very concentrated and powerful on the palate while also very round and smooth. Black fruits and chocolate come to the fore and a dense, tannic mouth-feel proves already pleasant and quite well-integrated. The length on the palate leaves the taste buds salivating. Château Lascombes 2004 is a concentrated, stylish and brooding wine.
